Heev Villa

Heev Villa is a private retreat designed specifically for a couple. The project focuses on tranquility and emotional stillness, aiming to foster a deeper connection between the two individuals through architectural space. At the core of the design lies the creation of a psychologically safe and intimate environment — a space that supports emotional comfort, personal boundaries, and a sense of togetherness.

Since this villa was designed for a couple to find relaxation in a solitary area, there was no need to separate the private zone from the public zone. Therefore, a minimum amount of partition was used in the rooms — frontiers were removed, and in some cases short walls were used. The only enclosed room in this villa is the bathroom, which is semi-transparent.

To keep the rooms enclosed and reduce inside visibility — and to provide peace of mind — the number of windows was minimized, and the overall lighting of the building was provided through a ceiling lightwell.

With a minimalist approach, all aspects of the design — from the pure geometry of the volume to the neutral color palette and modest materials — reflect simplicity and clarity. A tall, sloped glass roof opens up to the sky, allowing daylight, clouds, rain, and starlight to become part of the spatial experience.

One of the prominent elements of the project is the fireplace, shown both inside and outside as a chimney, creating a balanced contrast with a spherical shape.
